Zampieri Uniforms: Made in Italy style for service staff
Zampieri has dressed the service staff of the most prestigious hotels, restaurants, monarchies and private people in the world.
The firm Zampieri was born in 1949 from an idea of Bruno Zampieri, a successful entrepreneur, who brought out the Italian elegance and refinement in the uniforms of the staff of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants of that era. In 2018 Giulia Zampieri, Bruno's granddaughter, achieved a new project.
After working the the creation of custom design staff uniforms for companies and hotels such as (Missoni Hotel, Bulgari, Hilton Cavalieri, Rene Caovilla, Melia Hotel) aiming to the internationalization of the firm, Giulia decided to set up an ecommerce where the clients, over buy "standard" items, they have the possibility to create and customize their uniforms on your own.
The story begins in 1949, when Bruno Zampieri, a window dresser not yet 30 years old, had the intuition to open a workshop in Rome dedicated to the production of professional gowns and uniforms.
As Italian society was beginning to recover from the ravages of war and the great houses, cafes, hotels, restaurants, and clubs were slowly shaking off the dust, Zampieri was launching his catalog of gowns and uniforms.
The company Zampieri 1949 was born with the intention of dressing all staff in private homes.
Never was the intuition more fortunate: in no time at all the entire Roman bourgeoisie, eager to shake off the dark moments of the war, reopened their homes with parties and lunches. And they go to the store in the vicinity of Via Veneto to buy the necessities to be able to look good.
And so butlers, nannies (they were still there), chauffeurs, maids, gardeners, all in their own uniforms.
Like 70 years ago, even today when we enter the company we have 2 words well in mind:
Quality and Service.
Over the years (and still today) that type of clientele did not leave us and inevitably expanded beyond the Tiber and to the Ruspoli, Colonna, Pignatelli, Doria Pamphilj etc. were added the names of Italian business, Agnelli, Pininfarina, Marzotto, Tronchetti Provera, Bulgari, and foreign, Rocco Forte, Abramovic, the Turn und Taxis family, Francis Ford Coppola for his wine company in California.
Then in the 1970s the target became, in addition to quality, quantity.
And with Rome a destination for world tourism, we became a point of reference for the entire Ho.Re.Ca. sector.
And we began to pay great attention to the Health and Corporate sectors.
We proudly belong to the Historic Shops and Historic Stores of Excellence in Rome.
